CVAP DAY 4 CVAP Batch 11


 MEMORABLE AND UNFORGETTABLE Day 4 Batch 11



The day begins with a happy tongue twister for everyone. And everyone is an enthusiast in this morning to wake up everybody in a new day. This is the last day of our training and seems everyone is still excited, motivated, and inspired. You can see in the smile, face, and voice of everybody. 


And Ma'am Nikki once again visited us and, support us, motivate us on our last day of training. Reminding us always to love and accept our own voice and to be the number 1 fan of ourselves. Use our voice to empower others in doing our purpose because someone out there needs to hear our voice or story. She also gives 2 microphones to lucky voice artists that need equipment in starting their own best output of voice-over to help. To focus and be consistent after graduation of being a voice artist just like our tasks in our training. To continue to develop and improve our voice to be great.


Our speaker ma'am Janeane Santos is also a CVAP graduate, known as the golden voice. And beautiful voice artist, 💘. The inspiring story also of becoming a voice artist. In spite of many and various auditions, she never gives up. She pursues her love, passion, and purpose of becoming a great voice artist. Again a powerful testimony of pursuing your dreams, that no one can stop as long as you are determined and focused.




She thought us the importance of practice3x in order for us to be the best and great voice artists. Every field uses this mindset to be the best in their careers. Practice makes perfect.


The importance of practice will take us always to be the best voice artist. It is a continuous process in developing, improving, and growing as a voice artist.


THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS 




She also teaches where to get clients and build a good relationship after giving a voice over with them in order for us to refer in their friends or partners in business. And to market ourselves in auditions and several groups to join in order to collaborate with them also to widen our experience. It is a good start in searching for clients and sending demos of our output to clients. And don't lose hope just be positive because if it is your time to shine no one can stop




.
Rejection is a motivation to be the best. There is always a chance to achieve your goal. Rest and continue your passion. Don't lose hope never, never, never. Move forward and bounce back better than before, strive to be the best of whatever you do to inspire others. We will never know our chance or opportunity to come. So do your best at all times. Rejection happens, it's natural, it is a part of your journey as a great voice artist.

The man behind the 36 voice visited us also, sir Jay Jay. 


 We are the first as usual for the activity, but it's ok because it works I mean we did our best. We learned to overcome our fear and boost our confidence in doing our activity. Thank God for the courage to help us do our passion as voice artists. And also our fellow break-out room I congratulate every one of us for a job well done. Glory to God always for these achievements, credit to the Lord always. 


Yes, I am proud to be part of break out 1 as = RISE AS ONE. We made it in JESUS grace! I am proud of you guys. And of course to our break-out mentor Sir John and Ma'am Maja. JOB WELL DONE TO ALL OF US.

Money is not the motivation in our career as voice artists. But to always remember our CVAP MANTRA to remind us at we are doing this out of love and serving others and living our purpose and to use our voice to inspire others and make a difference in this world to make a better generation of voice artists. Thankful and grateful to sir Pocholo for this opportunity. And I was blessed because this is the last batch we could see him join our next batch. I salute sir Pocholo, words of wisdom that are always to be admired and apply in our daily life. Once again thank yous so much to ur Voice master of the Philipines to all the organizers and to all sponsors and volunteers who dedicated and shared their skills in helping us as a voice artist. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH CVAP . TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY.

CVAP DAY 3 OF BATCH 11


 

HAPPY, FUNNY, AND JOYFUL Day 3, 😄😄😄




Sir Pocholo inspires us again telling us how he stands and continues his purpose in spite of the pandemic crisis, how he manages to move forward and help people to stand on their own. I admire how sir Pocholo gave as hope to continue in life and move forward. He wants people to fight in spite of the crisis that is happening and at the same time give them an opportunity to join CVAP, it was free training for everyone who wants to use their voice and skills in creating a better version of themselves, inspire others. And to move forward in times of difficulties that we are experiencing right now.







Day 3, I want to begin this by saying ....what am I living for? Just as the voice master convicting question. I was asking myself that question also because I believe that it will give us wisdom and enlightenment in living in this world. 

Steve Jobs in his quote" We are here in the world to put a dent". And the connection to the question of sir Pocholo is exactly connecting in that quote. A word that will give us a question to define and determine our existence in this world. 


John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

I was reminded of this bible verse. Every one of us has a purpose in God's amazing grace. It's up to us to figure it out. Through His Word, we will find our purpose and the true meaning of life. To serve others is the greatest way to find your own purpose in life. To love them as yourself. That's why I really love the mantra of sir Pocholo. I thought this voice training is just learning to be a great voice artist but I was surprised and amazed to learn the words of wisdom of the Voice Master. I salute the dedication, compassion, and love that he was sharing with the world. 





And ma'am Nikki Esmero the executive director of cvap visited us in our day 3, reminded us once again to enjoy the training. I love her joke ;;;Ang nagtaas ng kamay ay magkaka jowa or mag iimprove yong love life. hehehe''' sana all may jowa because i am a single..huhuhu.....just kidding in crying, praying my partner also, 💖

To accept also our own voice and love our own voice. For sharing our story to everyone to inspire others. and again reminding us the word VOLUNTEERISM idea is the best way to widen our experience and develop our voice.





What's up....!!! PAPA LEM IN THE HOUSE......wowowwwowowoowoooooo- our speaker for the day

The happy, funny, and joyful guy is sir Papa Lem. I very interesting beginning also in his career of being a voice artist. He teaches us how to market our voice and how to create great social content. And also our gadgets and devices in creating our own voiceover to send the clients. To explore, volunteers and practice is a combination of being a great voice artist. To use social media or maximize it to make as a tool in marketing our voice. To be able to widen our digital marketing in the industry of voice artists. Social Media is our gasoline.

And the afternoon activity......................




Again everyone is in focus, I can tell in the faces of my batchmate. We are worried about our zoomarte because we didn't know if our output is suiting for the ear of our mentors and coaches. But I think we did our best and just go with enjoyment to be able to apply our learning. Happy for the outcome of my break-out room because we are able to overcome our fears and our confidence also is beginning to level up. That's it, guys!

"BLESSED AND EXCITING ''
CVAP Batch 11- Day 2

 I want to begin this with an exciting day 2 because all students were very focused and attentive. But as the day begin, we had to continue this amazing journey on becoming a great voice artist. It was a quiet and relaxed ambiance. You can feel the aura of everyone in the zoom room. Everybody wants to learn and know and is eager for day 2.


The class begins with the video of sir Pocholo in Eat Bulaga noontime show. Every time sir Pocholo you can always learn something new. Take note this "POCHOLOGY" ang tunay na mahusay at magaling hindi kinakalimutan kung saan sya nanggaling. In the year 2017, one of the books of sir Pocholo won the national book award and it's called Gusto kong maging voice talent.  Motivational speaker for 25 years. Write a 5 book. And called a man of a thousand voices. 



Attention-getting in motivational speaking, Procedde . I forgot the correct spelling, hehehe. He was also a voice coach of celebrities, politicians, and teachers.  Speech communicator was one of the specialties of sir Pocholo. Teaching to be a communicator not s speaker only. You have to be an ACE Communicator - A is Authenticity, C is for creative, and E is for Enthusiasm. God is within you.

And also the awards to motivate us to do our best in every task are very nice and beautiful. Son inspiring and I will not lie, I was worried or pressured to put my tasks to the highest level. 

 

Mr. Joshua teaches us so many tips and ways to become a great voice artist. Very humble and cool guy. I like the personality. Very professional. You can easily know from his voice or the way he speaks that he was a great voice artist. 

Developing our voice has 3 tips. First is voice variety, the formula in creating character voices, and proper care voice.

Don't be monotonous. Our voice is dynamic. It can only change and improve. 

Pochology our voice is not only a gift of voice, it is also a choice.

It's not WHAT  you say, but HOW you say it. The idea of  BELIEVABILITY.

A word or sentence is divided into two parts: speech and voice.

3 elements of voice variety 

pitch, volume, and tempo

SWEEP METHOD and explore your pitch.

The formula of Creating Character Voices: if you are good at creating voices, then you should be better at sustaining them. 

6 elements of creating voice characters - pitch, pitch character, tempo, rhythm, placement-(head, chest, cheeks, throat, mouth work )

Proper Care of Voice

That's why sir Pocholo  established voice care the Philippines in 2013

#drink plenty of water -16 glass of water a day

#avoid food and drinks that will be harmful to your voice 

#voice rest

#proper posture 

#proper breathing

#dont shout or whisper

#warm up

#salt water gargle(every day)

#consult doctor for a persistent cough, sore throat, and other similar condition 

FIND YOUR NICHE

TYPES OF VOICE ARTISTS

  • voice over 
  • voice character 

Voice Over - radio and tv commercials, public service announcements, movie trailer, announcement, audiovisual presentation, educational materials, telephony, and Interactive gadgets 

CHARACTER VOICES

Character Voice - automated dialogue replacement, radio drama, and animation 

OPEN-MINDED KA BA?
As an inspiring voice artist, it is best to audition in different kinds of projects first, to give yourself a wide range of experience. Just audition and audition. Volunteer and volunteer. This is a good practice to make your presence to producers, clients, and directors.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR NICHE?
Simply put, a niche is your Target Market. You need to know your niche because: you need to focus on your marketing efforts. You need to know the particular skills that you need to focus on as a voice artist. You need to establish your own brand in the voice acting industry. Final note: the voice acting industry is huge.

To find your NICHE consider the following ;
type of project 
quality of your voice
your specific skills and interest

Ask Yourself the following questions :
  • what kind of voice do you have?
  • what kind of character can you do 
  • what types of projects have you already done
  • what kind of project do you want to study

bottom line: Just focus on one part of the voice acting industry where you can see yourself thriving and succeeding. I am not saying that you stay stuck in just one niche forever. The point just starts on one niche and then, after gaining enough experience and exposure, expand later on.

remember: You are not a convenient store to offer everything nor all-purpose cream that can be added to every dish. So, FOCUS.


And what can I say to the activity break out part ........................

Very inspiring activity session everyone has voiced out their voice skills. I believe everyone is very cooperative and attentive to the break-out room. So many voice talents and skills. Again I was pressured by the other students because I think they had an experience already and learning about the training. But Let me end in these words. I will believe in myself and do my best for my Aspiration, Vision, and Purpose. Everyone is unique and special on their own. God created us equal. I just want to focus on the things that I can do best.

CVAP DAY 1- Batch 11

 

"BLESSED AND FRUITFUL ''

CVAP Batch 11- Day 1


I am very excited, nervous, and eager to meet all our mentors, organizers, teachers, and my fellow batchmates for day 1. I feel amazed by the testimony of many products and graduates of CVAP. Honestly, they are awesome in their own uniqueness. Grateful also for the warm welcome to every one of us. 💗

First, I want to begin with Ma'am Nikki  Esmero  - I really like her quote - 'If you don't believe yourself who else will', we don't need validation to others about our value or worth it comes within us. GOD created us a whole and precious above all. That's why love yourself as God sees you because we are all children of the high God.

I really love this (4 P's) ;

  • P- Pagbabago- allow the changes to happen  in ourselves, trust  and obey our mentors
  • P- Purpose - find your purpose in life because if you fail to find it you are just good as you don't live
  • P- Pera- money is not the motivation but the value of the high level of voice artists is the main goal   'Volunteerism - is the  first to see your value or serve first '
  • P- Pamilya - family is a safe space where you can be yourselves - we can find a true family in CVAP

The second is from Ma'am Pau Castillo- bath 3 - What you need to know about voice acting

Busting Popular Myths; - is not true because clients are looking for different needs, it is the matter of what is the purpose of your voice or how do you use it matters most and your passion

General Voice Acting Requirements; - proper speaking voice and the willingness to bend and break it, knows how to read, knows how to follow instructions, and willingness to invest in T.E.AM. It talks about the message of the script or dialogue that you want to inspire. We are family and need to lift up everyone. To achieve our common goal.

Voice Branding and CVAP Culture; - we had to be the best fan of ourselves and do our best. And again believe in yourself and learn by doing it.  A brand name is having a brand name that has a voice to do within it- and for me, a brand name is a voice name that can inspire, convict and encourage others that can put them to the highest level.  

CVAP CULTURE - is giving, loving, sharing, and caring.

Sir Pocholo said everyone has greatness inside of them. We all have talent, intellect, strength, and aspiration to drive us. I was amazed how Sir Pocholo arise in the Voice Artist Industry a very humble beginning and I can relate to one of his experiences but I see the determination and hope in his journey as a person. He didn't give up to reach or achieve his dream and goals in spite of rejection and greedy people in the industry of voice in our country. 

After all the hardship it paid off just like the saying "No guts No glory ". I truly see the determination, passion, and dedication of Mr. Pocholo He just focuses on his 1 goal or his dream to achieve it. He even sacrifices his career in Washington US to help and to serve his countrymen in the voice industry for his love to his fellow  Filipinos and to inspire, motivate them in their dreams. He told us that José Rizal at the age of 10 was already a visionary that why he pushes the youth to be great and to be the best version of themselves too. Even his own son is already trained by his perspective and principles in life. He believes that a good father raises a good or better child and his grandchildren will turn to be even better than him. Every day must be an opportunity to learn something new because everything is possible for someone who believes in themselves. 

He said that his pureness of heart, talent, and skills he will use to make other people better and happy by being excellent and great. Sharing the good news that everyone has greatness within. And it should be passed to someone. The next generation would be better than the next generation. If not, it would be like we didn't do anything at all for the future. 

But for sir Pocholo this is just the beginning, there are many dreams to build, establish, and ignite to find their own voice destiny, and future. If we know that in our heart to serve and help others especially the youth, we should never let anyone tell us otherwise. You are the only one who can tell you, you can't do anything. If you can make other people happy you will be happier. If you other people better you become the best. "SUCCESS IS NOTHING IF YOU DON'T SHARE IT."
